New Opinion Blog Started

Over time I have posted lots of opinions on this blog, happily held at the time, some for a long time and some for a short time. In June 2010 I stopped working for CommercialPlus and commenced work for myself again with a significant focus in the area of web design.

The two cms style sites I had at the time became more important from a point of view of the business and consequently less important to be cluttered with my thoughts and opinions, be they political or other wise. One of themhttp://www.philipbarrington.net is a Dot Net Nuke (DNN) powered site and this one http://www.philipbarrington.net.au is a WordPress powered site.


I was however feeling a little short of a place where I can let it rip and have a real say. So I have used WordPress.com to create a new blog where I can happily have a say, specifically off the business line and dedicated to be my place to have a say. http://www.philipbarrington.wordpress.com is that new blog, working within the confines of what wordpress.com allows you it seems a good option. WordPress.com is specifically focussed on blogging, which means it works for me in that context quite well and it isn’t costing money. As NSW has an election on the 26th of March 2011, it is likely that I will be having a few opinions to express between now and then.

I will still put the odd post here as a live site, however the more provocative stuff will be likely to be on the new blog.
